Acoustic properties of NAV LiteBoard

Acoustic properties:

NAV LiteBoard acoustic properties have been determined during testing to judge the suitability of NAV LiteBoard in door use. Tests were conducted in comparison with standard particle board and produced the following results: Density dB-Value Board type [kg/m³] [dB] NAV LiteBoard 38mm 462 30.3 Particle board 32mm 682 31.9 Particle board 38mm 513 31.3 Extruded particle board 33mm 490 32-33 The decibel value depends mainly from the density and the direction of the wood particles in the board (longitudinal or transversal to the surface).
